Monday Aug 22 was my induction day it made me 41 weeks. The night before we took the boys out to Magrath to stay with my parents. We got home packed our bags and then hung out with our friends Boyd and Olivia. Finally around 1 am we crawled into bed so much for a good nights rest before the big day! I think I got about an hour of sleep because I was so anxious. We got up at 4:30 and were on the road by 5:15 as "check in time" was 6. As we were walking up to the LDR we ran into Dr. Adolph, she asked if we had gotten a good nights rest and we told her no but the as long as she had that that was fine since she would be the one "catching" the baby! We got settled in our room by 7 and Dr. Adolph came in checked me and then broke my water. Not long after we got a text from Boyd saying that Olivia had been in an accident and that they were down in emerg and since not much was going on Brandon ran down to see if she was OK. Thankfully she was fine just bruised and soar. At 8:30 Dr. Adolph poked her head into our room to see how things were going and said that I was smiling to much so that we needed to start me on the drip. Holy Hell that stuff sucks after that started things were no longer fun I remember asking Brandon to take me home and we would just let this kid continue to bake for awhile longer. At 5cm I asked for my epidural and while it was being put in I kept having major contractions and I kept apologising to the antithesis and he told me that that was a first for him! LOL not even 10 mins later it was time to push and 20 mins later baby Bentley was born! I was so overwhelmed and fell instantly in love with him!! He was perfect and had a good set of lungs on him as well he cried for the first hour! In total Active labour was 3 1/2 hours and pushing was 20 mins! Way different then Ashton and the twins!! Thank Heavens!
Our Families came in and for the most part the boys looked at him but didn't want to go near him except for Ashton all he wanted to do was hold him.
I am grateful for Brandon and the awesome support that he is. I only got mad at him once and that was for all of the texting he was doing but once the phone got put away things were good! I am truly so lucky to have him in my life, plus we make really good looking boys!
Also I am grateful for Dr. Adolph for allowing me to have a VBAC so that I didn't have to have another c section. She really is an excellent Dr.!
We are so happy to have Bentley in our Family! He fits right in and we all just love him to pieces!!
